Sure, there are some good products and the 747 that comes with X-Plane 10 is comparable when alongside other default aircraft of its type for other simulations it is still weak in systems and functionality. However, the market has been pretty limited to high end simulations that are true to their real world counterparts especially when you consider commercial airliners. So, it is only a matter of time that we would want to see a product that would be worthy of the X-Plane 10 engine and take the X-Plane 10 simulation to whole new level! There are tons of aircraft add-ons available for X-Plane 10 and whether it is freeware and or payware the list is extensive and it is pretty much a buyer's market.
